https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-20-195.html
Purpose
Support for early stage conceptual work and feasibility tests in data science, biomedical informatics and bioinformatics. These studies may involve considerable risk but may lead to a breakthrough in a particular area, or to the development of novel techniques or approaches that could have major impact on a field of biomedical, behavioral, or clinical research. Preliminary data are not required, but applicants are urged to provide milestones by which progress on the project can be measured. Only electronic applications are accepted.
For details on research interests, see the NLM Express Research Grants in Biomedical Informatics (R01) (PAR-13-300).
