Data Changes

Human/Veterinarian Attributes:

Attributes have been added to RxNorm BPCK, GPCK, SBD, SCD, and BN normal forms to represent the intended subject - human or veterinarian - of a drug product, and the country in which that drug is marketed for that purpose.  These new attributes can be found in the RXNSAT file in the RxNorm full monthly release.

The new attribute names are RXN_HUMAN_DRUG and RXN_VET_DRUG. The values of these attributes are drawn from ISO country codes (for example: RXN_HUMAN_DRUG=US or RXN_VET_DRUG=UK) indicating the country where, to the best of our knowledge, the drug is marketed.  Concepts with BPCK, GPCK, SBD, SCD, and BN normal forms have received the attribute-value pair of RXN_HUMAN_DRUG=US by default.  The initial focus is on US and UK attribute values.
