NLM welcomes Manisha Desai, PhD, Section Chief of Biostatistics and Director of the Quantitative Sciences Unit at Stanford University School of Medicine, to give the 2024 NLM Ada Lovelace Computational Health Lecture entitled, “Can Data Science and AI Deliver on Its Promise for Improving Public Health?” Please join us on November 13, 2024, at 11:00am in the Lawton Chiles International House (Stone House), Building 16 and online via NIH Videocast.

Ada Lovelace Day, an annual observance named for one of the first woman computer programmers, celebrates women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The NLM Ada Lovelace Computational Health Lecture Series, introduced in 2020, recognizes the contributions of computer scientists in research on health and biomedicine. The series features women in STEM sectors and invites them to share their pioneering research with NIH and beyond.
