A human figure—formed from news clippings and advertisements about different non-prescription “cures” for venereal diseases—pours out a dose of medicine. Contagious disease goes unchecked due to the false advertising of unlicensed and unqualified medical practitioners, which are disseminated to the public through advertising in the uncontrolled and proliferating mass print media.
