I chose these two drums -- one, one is my son’s and grandchildren. I wanted them to sing for the journey from there to here, make sure that it’s a good journey. And then the other drum is a drum that goes from here that way -- the kids -- the beginning of things, the little ones -- there's a beginning.

In the United States, there’s always been kind of an out there, and we’ve been here protecting our knowledge, trying to hold on to what our grandpa or grandma or great-grandparents taught us and so we began to work with the National Library of Medicine to create awareness that we can work together but it has to be a good relationship.
