AD 1564: Epidemic decimates Timuacan in Florida

Once 50,000 strong, the Timuacan living between the barrier islands of what is now Georgia and the area now known as Jacksonville, Florida, are decimated by an unidentified pathogen. Spain abducts the few hundred survivors and enslaves them in Mexico and Cuba.
