1926: Anglican hospital opens in Tlingit village

Named after Peter Trimble Rowe, who heads the Anglican Church in Alaska, Bishop Rowe Hospital opens in the Tlingit village of Wrangell, in southeast Alaska. The hospital serves Tlingits and others.
