VSAC Update Version 2.16.3 Released

VSAC Update Version 2.16.3 Released. NLM Tech Bull. 2018 Jan-Feb;(420):b11.

The National Library of Medicine is pleased to announce the Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) publication and downloadable files of the February 1, 2018 release of the HL7 Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) R2.1 value sets, authored by the HL7 Terminology group.

There are three ways to access the files:

• In the VSAC Downloads tab, select the "C-CDA Value Sets" section. Sign in with your UMLS username and password to gain access to the Excel and pipe-delimited text files. The published downloadable C-CDA R2.1 2018-02-01 release excludes some C-CDA value sets for which VSAC does not yet have the required supporting code systems. You can view the list of C-CDA R2.1 2018-02-01 Value Sets Available and Unavailable in VSAC in the section below the downloadable files.
• You may also access and browse this C-CDA release content through the VSAC homepage. Click on the Search button in the HL7 C-CDA Value Sets program block.
• Alternatively, you can navigate to the Search Value Sets tab, and then select the HL7 C-CDA program, and select the C-CDA R2.1 2018-02-01 release.
