The Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association (MLA) will be held May 3-8, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. We invite you to attend the following sessions to learn more about National Library of Medicine (NLM) products and services. You are also encouraged to talk with our staff at exhibit booth 208 (May 4-6).
Tuesday, May 7 (11:00 – 11:55)
Location: Grand Ballroom CDEF (East Tower, Ballroom/Gold Level)
Speakers:
Jerry Sheehan, Deputy Director
Janice Kelly, Acting Deputy Director, Specialized Information Services
Joyce Backus, Associate Director for Library Operations
Amanda J. Wilson, Head, National Network Coordinating Office
The NLM booth (#208) will be open during the opening reception (Saturday, 5-7:30), Sunday noon-5:30, and Monday 10-5. We will have experts on hand to answer questions, take feedback, and discuss the latest NLM news. The table below lists selected NLM products, the times those representatives will be at the booth, and links to any recent news. Don't see the product that you are interested in or a time that works for you? Please stop by the booth anytime and we will try to put you in contact with someone who can help.
Our focus on talking with you — the users, trainers, and promoters of NLM products — replaces the previous emphasis on theater presentations. We will still present updates online through the NLM website, our blogs and social media, webinars, and, of course, the NLM Technical Bulletin.
This table will be updated as pre-MLA news is released and schedules are confirmed.
