Seven New SNOMED CT Releases Available. NLM Tech Bull. 2018 Sep-Oct;(424):b14.

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is pleased to announce seven new SNOMED CT related releases available for download.

• SNOMED CT Nursing Activities Reference Set (Refset) Package:
  This reference set includes a subset of frequently used SNOMED CT concepts in nursing practice for nursing activities. This release is based on the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition.
  
  
• SNOMED CT Nursing Health Issues Refset Package:
  This reference set includes a subset of frequently used SNOMED CT concepts used in nursing practice for nursing health issues. This release is based the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition.
  
  
• SNOMED CT General Dentistry Diagnostic Refset Package:
  This release is a reference set of diagnostic terms, designed to provide dentistry with an easy to implement set of terms that covers the vast majority of care provided in the dental field. This release is based the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition.
  
  
• SNOMED CT Odontogram Refset Package:
  This reference set is for use in dentistry, specifically for use in the electronic dental record (EDR) for odontogram visualization and representation of patient's current oral condition. This release is based the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition.
  
  
• International Classification of Nursing Practice (ICNP) to SNOMED CT Diagnoses Release:
  The ICNP to SNOMED CT nursing diagnoses (problems) equivalency table is a product of an ongoing program of work carried out under a pre-existing collaboration agreement between the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the International Health Terminology Standards Organization (IHTSDO). This release includes content related to nursing diagnoses. This release is based on the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition and the May 2017 ICNP.
  
  
• ICNP to SNOMED CT Interventions Release:
  Similar to the Diagnoses release, the ICNP to SNOMED CT Interventions release includes the ICN and IHTSDO equivalency table for content related to nursing interventions. This release is based on the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition and the May 2017 ICNP.
  
  
• July 2018 General Practitioner/Family Practice Reference Sets and SNOMED CT to ICPC2 Map:
  This release includes the SNOMED CT International General Practitioner/Family Practice (GP/FP) subset and map from the GP/FP subset to the International Classification of Primary Care (ICPC-2). This release is resulting work from the harmonization agreement between the IHTSDO and WONCA. Access to the SNOMED CT to ICPC-2 map is provided through a collaboration agreement between WONCA and IHTSDO. Users of the map must comply with the licensing agreements of both ICPC-2 and SNOMED CT. Thise release is based on the July 2018 SNOMED CT International Edition and the May 2017 ICPC-2e-v.4.2.
