RXNORM DATA CHANGES
New Concept for Restasis Single-Use Vials
Restasis is an eye medication available in multi-dose bottles and single-dose vials. RXCUI 402092 represented both the multi-dose and the single-dose Restasis products. However, the single-use product will be split into a distinct RxNorm concept (RXCUI 2572293) starting with the November 2021 release. The existing concept RXCUI 402092 will represent the multi-dose product.
The new Restasis single-use and related generic concepts are:
