The VISIBLE HUMAN DATASET has been made available via Internet.  Internet and VHD have to grow together. For this reason VHD-MMS has built up a CD-ROM that take its real effectiveness when used in conjunction with an Internet connection, and for this reason is navigable using a standard web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator, included in the shipment. But is usable also offline. The CD-ROM should serve as reference for who haven't a real connection to Internet, or very slow one, and not so much time to spent to go on the webspace to search and watch to VHD related products.

     "Bioimages for Europe '98" is a product of the "VISIBLE HUMAN DATASET - MILANO MIRROR SITE^®". It is intended to be distributed free of charge only. Nevertheless it should be clear that nobody is allowed to copy it without written permission of the "VISIBLE HUMAN DATASET - MILANO MIRROR SITE^®".

     The only one possible copy policy will be for the entire electronic content of the CD-ROM as it is.

     This copy policy should cover also the CD-ROM external graphical design as it is. No partial copy will be allowed. Each copy permission will be given free of charge to distinguished interested parties and will include the need for these parties to make their distribution according to a free of charge policy only.

     Agreements with the authors and/or publishers of the single products collected in the CD-ROM should be negotiated by the interested parties directly with the authors and/or publishers themselves only.
