A Discussion of Visible Human Color File Formats

Abstract
There is a basic need to understand the nuances of each Visible Human Data set available so that developers can select the the best data for any application. We present a discussion of of three VH data sets. We outline the distinctions among all the sets and within each data set. We cover the original file format, file dimensions, associated file sizes, alignment, orientation and example file conversions.
