Abstract This paper describes the efforts of Gold Standard
Multimedia Inc. to provide a detailed segmentation and classification of
the Visible Human Male (VHM) dataset, and to use that data and the original
NLM data to produce an interactive live volume rendering CD-ROM software
package for use in medical education and research.
