The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) has updated VSAC with the most recent provisional terminology codes published by ICD-10-CM, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

ICD-10-CM developed these codes to streamline the public health response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the COVID-19 disease, and they are based on the most up to date information available at the time of their creation.
