The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Value Set Authority Center (VSAC), with support from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), is pleased to announce updates to the value set review functionality in VSAC.
Last year, VSAC announced that authors and stewards can update the review status of their value set definitions from Active to: Not Maintained, Deprecated, or Retired.
VSAC recently enhanced these review features for authors and stewards. There is a new My Value Set Review Status section in VSAC Authoring. Authors and stewards will see a table that shows all their value sets along with their review status and last reviewed date. They can use the Due for Review filter to see only their value sets that require review. Due for Review means that authors or stewards have not reviewed their latest published value set definition versions during the past year.
The table also allows authors and stewards to review multiple value sets as a batch instead of reviewing individual value sets.
NLM updated the Value Set Review and Maintenance documentation to reflect these changes.
We hope that you find these new features helpful and easy to use. You can contribute to the improvement of VSAC by sending feedback and ideas to the NLM Support Center.
