NLM® Resource Update: TOXMAP® Now Includes Updated Superfund, Mortality Data, and New Classroom Exercises

The National Library of Medicine® TOXMAP now includes updated EPA Superfund National Priority List (NPL) data and updated NCI mortality data.

In addition, TOXMAP now provides links to AirNow for air quality data, to NCEA (National Center for Environmental Assessment) HERO (Health & Environmental Research Online) Database for risk assessments, and additional TOXMAP classroom exercises.

TOXMAP is a Geographic Information System (GIS) from the Division of Specialized Information Services (SIS) of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) that uses maps of the United States to help users visually explore data from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Toxics Release Inventory, and Superfund Program.
