Due to the centrally controlled nature of sport systems in communist societies, the integration of sports medicine, or medico-athletics, has been extremely successful. The successes of medico-athletics in the Soviet Union were then suggested in anti-TB posters created in China. About the Book
In 1953 the Shanghai Anti-Tuberculosis Association produced a large series of anti-TB posters that sought to educate the public on the causes, symptoms, treatments, and methods of preventing the spread of TB.
