In 1953, the Shanghai Anti-Tuberculosis Association produced a large series of anti-TB posters. This poster illustrates the importance of working environments staying clean and staying apart from others to avoid the spread of TB at work, particularly if someone is ill. The images show workers cleaning the workplace, and an isolated worker eating, reading, smoking, taking a shower, and sleeping alone.
