• Export All Results
The Export All Results feature allows you to export up to 5,000 search results at once. See the Exporting Search Results section for more information.
• New Facet
The Included In MEDLINE/PMC facet allows you to refine search results to show only resources that are currently indexed by MEDLINE and archived in PubMed Central (PMC).
• Subject Display Changes
You can now use separate Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms from Other Subjects in your search results by using facets. This distinction between MeSH and Other Subjects is also made in the record display. Other Subjects are selected from other vocabularies like the Library of Congress Subject Headings and Faceted Application of Subject Terminology (FAST).

• Advanced Search
The Advanced Search feature now allows searching for “Equals exact phrase” in the specified Author, Title, or Subject field, returning records that contain only the exact phrase used in the search. For example, a title search for "Nursing education" returns records that contain only Nursing education in the Title field. See the Advanced Search section for more information.

August 2023

• Resource Type Filter Ribbon
The new Resource Type filter ribbon located under the search bar can be used to narrow search results by resource type before submitting a search query. See the Basic Search section for more information.
• Extend User Session
When logged in, users can now extend their session prior to its expiration. After approximately 30 minutes of inactivity, users will be notified that their session is about time out and they can then choose to extend the session.

June 2023

• Signed-in users can now search My Favorites - Saved Records to find items.
The search is performed on the Title, Author, and labels fields.
• Advanced search by barcode.
The option to search by barcode has been added to the Advanced Search screen in order to more easily locate specific physical items on the shelves. See the Advanced Search section for more information.
• Search holdings call numbers using the "starts with" option.
For advanced searches, users can now use the "starts with" option to search for holdings call numbers. Previously this option was only available for title searches. See the Advanced search section for more information.

October 2022

• Archive-It Search.
You can now search NLM's web archive collection through Archive-It, a service that allows cultural heritage organizations to collect and preserve web content collections. A new search bar will appear above your search results enabling you to continue your query on the Archive-It NLM Collection page.
