National Library of Medicine
National Library of Medicine, Building 38, National Institutes of Health.
You step off the Metro, and pass the security procedures to enter NIH’s campus. Looking at your campus map, you make your way over to the National Library of Medicine, which is Building 38. Once inside, you let the person at the front desk know that today is your first day as an intern and you are here to meet your supervisor, Ms. Kim.
Ms. Kim walks over to greet you, gives you a brief tour of the office, and introduces you to other staff and interns from all over the country. Once you get settled in, Ms. Kim goes over your initial assignments.
For your first assignment, you will need to review the Rise, Serve, Lead! online exhibit and some related files.
