First volume of Annals of Medical History, Francis R. Packard (ed.), 1917

First published in 1917, Annals of Medical History is the first major medical history journal published in the United States. Physician and journal editor Francis Packard (1870-1950) and the majority of associate editors were well-placed American friends, former students, or former colleagues of Sir William Osler, widely respected physician, educator, and historian of medicine.
