John Shaw Billings: A Memoir, Fielding H. Garrison, MD, New York, 1915

Author, medical historian, and librarian of medicine Colonel Fielding Garrison (1870–1935) had been a junior colleague and then a successor to John S. Billings (1838–1913), the founder of the Library of the Surgeon General's Office in Washington, DC.
